founding
supporter.

We are not taking money today. We are telling you what we intend to do and asking whether you want to be there when we do it.

Where we actually are

The Hayes Youth Foundation is in formation. We are not yet a tax-exempt organization, we cannot offer a tax deduction, and we are not accepting contributions. When that changes, this page will say so plainly and will name the entity receiving funds.

Craig Parker, our treasurer, oversees financial controls before a dollar moves. Our board.

What your support
will fund.

Deposits and early rent. The gap between a pledged unit and a young person actually living in it.

Life Lab. Curriculum, facilitation, materials, and the room.

The Table. Twelve dinners a year, and screening and training for every adult who attends.

One named point of contact. The person who stays reachable. The least fundable thing we do and the most important.

We will publish a first-cohort budget before we open, so you can see the cost per young person rather than a total.

How we will judge whether it worked.

What we
will not do.

We will not use a young person's hardship to raise money. No pity photography. No manufactured transformation stories. No one has to tell you what happened to them so that we look effective.

If that makes fundraising harder, it makes it harder.

What we measure and how we protect participants.

We will contact you when we open. Nothing is charged and nothing is committed.
